Miss Mecklenburg

One of the best things about pageantry is all the friends you make as you travel and I have been blessed to not only call these girls my friends but also my "family." I had so much fun going to Miss Mecklenburg's Little Miss Pageant as well as Miss Mecklenburg! Congratulations to all of the girls who competed and all the new queens, I know you are going to have a blessed and exciting year!

A busy day in Charlotte, NC!

To start off the Holiday Season I took a trip to a very special place that will always be dear to my heart, Levine's Children's Hospital. Over my years as a Queen I have always loved coming here and meeting new children and seeing again those children that hold a special place in my heart! This year I was blessed to have over 200 stuffed animals to bring to the children. As I walked around to each floor and to every room in the hospital you could see the excitement in every child's face, although the shiny crown may have helped some. No matter what the age new born to fifteen everyone was excited to pick out a new stuff animal, either for them or their little brothers or sisters! I met so many special children as well as people that day and even got to sing for a few special "princess." Thank You so much Levine's Children's Hospital for letting me share my toys but Thank You mostly for letting me make such good friends!

The helpers in the hospital with all the stuffed animals!

After Leaving Levine's Children's Hospital, Mom and I hopped in the car and headed to Time Warner Arena for me to sing the National Anthem at the NBA Bobcats basketball game! I can honestly say I feel like I am apart of the "Bobcat Family" this was my 8th time singing the National Anthem but it gets better to sing there every time! Here are a few pics of me singing at the gam, having some fun with the boys of the Rally Cats and with one of my favorite Bobcat players ACIE LAW!

GOOOOOO BOBCATSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

SING SING SING!!!!

Singing for a few tips for the Masonic Home at Flip Flops in Gastonia, NC!
Great help from Kara.....LOOK AT ALL THE GIFTS!!!!

As some of you know I LOVE TO SING! Over my Christmas break I thought what better way to raise money and awareness of the Masonic Home in Oxford, NC than to get out in my community and SING! At a local restaurant FLIP FLOPS in Gastonia, NC I participated in a toy drive for the children at Oxford! Locals came and supported the children by bringing a toy and giving me tips that night! I am so proud to say that we raised $500.00 and collected almost 100 toys! It was great to see so many people come out to the event to support such a special cause to me and to the Little Miss North Carolina organization.
